How does the rental work?
Browse pieces on the website or in the iOS app, add them to your suitcase, and checkout. We ship within 1–2 weeks. You're billed every 30 days from your order date. Keep pieces as long as you want.
Can I buy a piece I've been renting?
Yes — and the price drops every month you rent it. After 3 months on a typical piece, the buyout price has already dropped significantly. Contact support@davenport.rentals to initiate a buyout.
What's the security deposit?
A $75 deposit is held (not charged) on your card when you place your first order. It's released in full when all pieces are returned in acceptable condition.
How do I return a piece?
Email returns@davenport.rentals with your order number and which pieces you're returning. We'll send a prepaid shipping label within 24 hours. iOS app users can also request returns directly from the Account tab.
What condition are the pieces in?
Every listing shows the wear tier (Pristine, Excellent, Well-Worn, or Veteran) and the number of prior rentals. We only list pieces in wearable condition.
What if something gets damaged?
Normal wear is expected and fine. Damage beyond normal wear may result in your deposit being charged — but we'll always reach out first and give you at least 30 days notice.
How do I delete my account?
iOS app users can go to Account → Delete Account. To delete your account from the web, email support@davenport.rentals and we'll handle it within 30 days.
